Domaine Château Seguin

The Pessac-Léognan appellation, established south of Bordeaux in 1987, is renowned for the production of high-quality wines. Its terroir is characterized by a blend of gravel, clay, sand and limestone, providing naturally impoverished soils ideal for vine-growing. Rolling hills and streams ensure optimum drainage, while the heat absorbed by the pebbles on the surface helps the grapes to ripen. A temperate climate influenced by the ocean and protected by the Landes forest gives Pessac-Léognan wines exceptional quality.

The story of Château Seguin illustrates the resurgence of winegrowing estates. Since 1987, the Darriet family has invested in quality practices, including protection raisonnée, manual harvesting, thermoregulation and ageing in French oak barrels. Thanks to this work and know-how, Château Seguin produces harmonious, elegant and precise wines, reinforcing its growing reputation.

The wine's beautiful garnet-red colour is an invitation to discover more. On the nose, a pure perfume of fruit is accompanied by delicate woody and spicy notes.

On the palate, it offers a soft, fruity entry that harmonizes perfectly with the biting character of the fruit. The wine evolves with generous fullness, a well-balanced structure and a texture of great finesse. The finish is both greedy and enveloped by supple tannins, revealing the soul of Pessac-Léognan and the savoir-faire of Château Seguin.
